A software engineer working with Infosys was shot dead Saturday night at a hotel on Pune outskirts, police have said. An executive engineer of the Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation was found dead at a hotel in the capital’s Naya Paltan area early Wednesday. The deceased was Md Abbas Uddin, 50. He was the executive engineer of the BIWTC’s Chattogram Sadarghat and a resident of Cumilla’s Muradnagar upazila.

A guest staying at the Holiday Inn Hotel said the 60-year-old Summit County man was exposing himself on Sunday in the pool area, according to a shift report.
