The new platform — which will replace the current Luxury Hotel & Resort Collection — will highlight notable attributes about each hotel, including if it is family-friendly, known as a spa or wellness retreat, or has intriguing restaurants.

Travelers who book a hotel through the platform will still unlock complimentary benefits like breakfast for two, property credits, and room upgrades, and be able to pay with points. “As an evolution from the brand’s popular Luxury Hotel & Resort Collection, The Edit is a new, editorially driven program designed to elevate Chase Travel’s luxury lodging offering,” the credit card company wrote in a statement. “The Edit will make it easier for Chase Sapphire Reserve cardmembers to plan, book, and visit the most sought-after, hand-selected, and highly vetted hotel properties across the globe.”

The rebrand comes as Chase continues to expand its luxury travel offerings. Earlier this year, the credit card company opened its first-ever airport lounge in the United States at Boston Logan International Airport, competing with the well-known American Express Centurion Lounges and the newer Capital One Lounges. Chase has future plans to open lounges in Las Vegas, New York City, Philadelphia, Phoenix, and San Diego, according to the company.

In October, the company also added more than 100 Four Seasons properties to the Luxury Hotel & Resort Collection, allowing travelers to receive perks when staying even though Four Seasons doesn’t have its own loyalty program.
