The portal provides passengers with entry requirements for individual countries, links to the latest tourist board information, Covid-19 rates, and local expectations on mask-wearing practises. The portal designed by Effect Digital and powered by Netflights is now live, and reflects the latest developments at all of the airport’s current and upcoming destinations.

Passengers can also use the portal to book flights and pre-departure or arrival tests at the airport’s on-site testing centre.

The airport currently serves destinations including Belfast City, Edinburgh, Frankfurt, and Dusseldorf with British Airways CityFlyer, Amsterdam with KLM, Vilnius with LOT Polish Airlines, Dundee with Loganair and Luxembourg with LuxAir.

British Airways recently announced that its BA CityFlyer would operate twice weekly services to Jersey and Gibraltar this summer. This is expected to be followed by services to destinations such as Ibiza, Palma, Faro, Malaga, Nice, Santorini and Mykonos.

BA will also launch routes to San Sebastian (marking the only direct flight from London) and Split, services that were initially scheduled to begin last summer.

Neil Dillon, Marketing Director at London City Airport, commented:

“For the time being, there is a lot more for passengers to consider when making their travel choices.  We hope our new travel portal will help demystify the experience as well as inspire them to discover some of our amazing UK and European destinations this summer.

“With the COVID-19 vaccination programme ramping up across Europe, the portal will be regularly updated to capture the easing of restrictions across all our key markets and will help passengers shape their summer 2021 travel itineraries.”
