Quicker and more transparent
At World Travel Market (WTM) in London, the travel tech developer based in Crete presented a new solution for hotel purchasing by tour operators. "We are closing a gap between the incoming companies and the tour operator systems," says CEO Stergios Panagiotakis.
The new "Tour Operator Contracting Solution" manages all hotel contracts and the entire hotel content, regardless of whether it is purchased in-house or via the DMC or supplied externally via bed banks and channel managers. According to Panagiotakis, this means that new offers can be calculated more quickly and put on sale immediately, and there is greater transparency regarding contracts, conditions and stop sales.
Meeting Point with standardised end-to-end system
The tool is compatible with all organiser systems via interfaces. The data is hosted in a dedicated cyber cloud in Europe. "We are ISO-certified; data security and trust are central cornerstones of our business," says Panagiotakis, who owns the company together with CTO Alexis Saloustros.
Additional DMCs can be connected worldwide via the platform. "We bring new partners from the destinations together with the tour operators via our Cyberhub," says Panagiotakis. Tour operators who wanted to add new destinations had already made DMC partners from the respective regions and their offers quickly bookable.
